Alfie Phillips

Software Developer — Cornwall, UK

Alfie Phillips.

I build web products from Truro, Cornwall — full-time at Hiyield, and freelance on the side. Focused on quality, clarity, and the sustainable side of the web.

About

The short version.

Grew up in Cornwall, taught myself to code early. Studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Truro and Penwith College, freelancing on the side from January 2021.

In August 2024 I joined Hiyield, a digital product studio in Truro, as an apprentice. I'm now a Junior Software Developer there, working across WordPress, PHP, and bespoke builds. I still take on freelance work alongside it.
